Same as above reccos, these are obviously very specific places based on if you want sushi, steak, Italian.
Duck and Waffle – Must do, but book in advance. I think it’s the only 24/7 place in London. It’s great for both brunch or dinner (or late night)! The view is insane, it’s in the Heron Tower and there are panoramic views of London, it’s a classic spot!
Dishoom– very good Indian food. I’m someone that does not like super spiced-up food bc I have a sensitive stomach, but it was DELISH!
Sushi Samba– a must. Ok so the OG location is in the Heron Tower next to Duck & Waffle. The view. omg The food is insane the views are even better. such a cool vibe. It’s hard af to get into so book like months in advance. If you can’t get in- go for a drink and the view. They opened a second location in Covent Garden which is easier to get a table at and it’s cute AF- especially for lunch!
Hawksmoor– Had one of the best meals of my life here, seriously. There are a few locations. They are known for their oysters and steak. I had a short rib baked potato and it was an out of body experience. Wine list is amazing and so are the cocktails!
Sexyfish– very sceney. You’ve probably seen it on Instagram. It’s in the boujee Mayfair neighborhood. Prob need a res here too but try to at least go for a drink and app at the bar. The décor is awesome.
Zuma– I know, another sushi spot. In Knightsbridge near Harrods. The sake here is really great. The food is similar to Nobu so, really good. A very good crowd to people watch!
Signor Sassi– This is an Italian spot right next door to Zuma in Knightsbridge. The whole shtick is that the staff is sassy af. I went with someone who lives in London or prob would have never found it. It’s decent Italian if you’re craving for dinner.
Cecconis– Always a great option, I think I’ve been to 4 different locations. An old trusty staple that you always know what to expect- never disappoints.
Bernard’s Tavern– so good. This is at the Edition Hotel. Great Italian wines, vibes, and food!!! The burrata was BOMB.
Room Service/Hotel Restaurant– Ok, so there’s nothing like a room service Caesar salad, am I right? Honestly in all the hotels I’ve stayed in above, I’ve eaten dinner and room service in all of them. I’ve been in London alone a few times and sometimes there’s just nothing like a glass of wine and food while you’re in a robe in bed. OR, just being able to walk downstairs to eat and have a few cocktails without leaving the building. SO, see my post for which hotels I’ve stayed at and go have a meal at any of them bc I’ve eaten at them all.
Places I’ve been recommended but haven’t been- Sette, Trufflesecco, Batter Sea Power Station, Corazon, Pastaio, Milos, Scotts, Fifty Cheyane, Cut
Check out my posts on where to stay, where to eat lunch, where to get a drink, what to do, and most importantly – where to get coffee in London.
Sealed with a Spritz
