Where to Stay

Disclaimer: I believe what you pay for is the quality you get. I’ve never stayed at an extremely cheap hotel in London. I will never stay in a hostel, sorry if that offends you but I prefer not to be robbed in my sleep. If you want dirt cheap recs then you may want to ask someone else. I value my safety and to me, that is a decent hotel not a hostel or Air B-n-B. SO- to make things cheaper, stay in a room with 2 beds and get a few people in it, it def helps offset the cost. Of course, try to use points if you have them which should be a no brainer. And for people who will roll their eyes or get offended at my opinion on air b-and-b or hostels (there is always one lol) I went to Europe in college and slept on my friends floors who were studying abroad; so been there done that and never again- I don’t know her.

The London EDITION– I’d say this hotel is in the middle of the price range for general London hotels (but still pricey, in London there are hotels that are triple this price so yeah- middle range). It is hands down the best hotel in London I’ve ever stayed. Staff is INCREDIBLE, it’s a Marriott, the food is SO So good. The rooms are STUNNING. The lobby bars are both great and you can literally spend the whole day in this hotel without leaving. They have Gf and DF options, the location is PRIME, they are so thoughtful and accommodating. If you are going for a special occasion book this 40000%

Le Meridian Piccadilly– Less expensive than the Edition but still such amazing quality! This hotel has an insane indoor pool, spa, sauna. I will say the rooms are a bit on the smaller side and a tad outdated. But, I’ve stayed here twice in London the location can’t be beat- it’s right near Regent street so TONS of shopping, basically smack dab in the middle of London. It’s up the block from the Ritz so you can go there for tea or a drink.

The ANDAZ Liverpool Street– This was a great hotel! It’s in a completely different area than the other two but I still loved it and the area. This is near the “financial district” of London. It’s South East London. Still such a great location, right next to the tube and so many things are walkable from here. The rooms were super spacious and the breakfast that was included was reallllly good. I even hung out the bar there at night when I stayed there alone and loved it! I want to say this is a Hyatt Hotel but can be totally wrong. I’d def stay here again!

The Rosewood High Holbourne– Ok, this is the most expensive on my list. I will say that I did not pay for this so, yeah. Super expensive but the quality and service was insane. The food was so good, the bar here is incredible. I even have sent some people to get afternoon tea here and they have raved about it. The location is pretty central, and I walked a ton of places from here. This may be like a honeymoon price point so, yeah totally understand that it’s a little insane- I can’t stay here regularly, or maybe ever again LOL.
