What to Do

Before getting into the list I want to make sure you reeaaallly do this one thing; soak in allll the magic that this island has to offer. It just has a certain vibe and energy that you will wish you could bottle up and bring home with you so you can live that way every day. Since that’s totally not a possibility, make sure you really enjoy every second because it goes SO quick.  So, I personally like to get up early on vacation and get as much as I can in. I really suggest that here because once the cruise ships come in, it gets crowded (I think between 930-10). Ok now to the good stuff!

  • Get lost. No, really get lost here. Every corner and turn is more beautiful than the next. The island isn’t big so you will be just fine. I got “lost” and stumbled upon sooo many gems. It’s a great way to get to know the town!
  • Have a cappucino at the Quintisisana. Ok, this glamorous, iconic, hotel is a MUST. I went every morning and got a cappuccino and people watched. There was some Italian show being filmed while I was there so I was in HEAVEN. Also come here for a glass of wine at night. The staff are INCREDIBLE. We were there on a quiet night and said we were from NYC and they had someone play Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York” on the piano-amazing.

  • Aperitivo in the square. Similar to the above but with wine and at night. Before dinner, head to the main square, grab a table and a glass of vino, people watch and just really soak it all in.
  • Go to La Fontelina beach club. This is officially my favorite place on earth, literally. It’s a private beach club that overlooks the Faraglioni Rocks. You’ve seen it in Gray Malin pictures, or on Instagram and even that doesn’t do it justice. The vibe, the view, the flowing spritz’. It’s truly HEAVEN. You have to reserve chairs/an umbrella in advance. honestly I’d reserve 2 days because I’m THAT confident that you will want to go back. the food was OK but that’s not what you’re there for anyway! Also, there aren’t any bad meals in Italy.
  • Try all things lemon. This is the island of lemons. There are lemon trees everyyyywhereeee. You will most likely be given limoncello after every meal when you are out, embrace it.
  • Have a caprese salad. Multiple times a day. It originated here, need I say more?
  • Take a boat ride around Capri. This is another must. We actually chartered a boat from Positano to Capri. There was 2 couples on the boat but they were just doing the day trip. They let us bring our luggage and we just got off with everything once we docked

I hope this list helped! As always, feel free to slide into my DMs if you want to get really specific, I literally do that to strangers all the time.

Check out my other posts on where to stay and where to eat in Capri!

Sealed with a Spritz
