Where to Eat

Lunch-

L’antico Vaniao- famous sandwich place. The line goes by quick SO worth it.
Gusta Pizza- Also a MUST. Classic Florence Pizza, I went here 10 years ago and needed to come back when I was in Florence again.
Harry’s Bar- right on the river, a classic spot for lunch or a pre-dinner bellini!
Gelato- GROM by the Duomo, nothing like it!

Dinner-

Trattoria Sostanza- MUST MUST. One of the best meals I’ve literally ever had. It’s small so make a reservation not bougie like LA Giostra. It’s family run- Cash only and CHEAP (at least in comparison to Amalfi Coast) . The house wine is literally BEYOND. It’s a MUST. Get the brick chicken it is insane
Trattoria Gargani- SO amazing and recommended by our hotel concierge- they were actually personal friends so we had prosecco upon arrival. It was one of the best tomato sauces I’ve ever had SO insane. Wine list was also amazing.
Acqua al Due- Has the famous Florentine steak
La Giostra-The classic that everyone recommends. Honestly Sostanza was better (and cheaper)
