Where to Eat

Lunch-

  • L’antico Vaniao- famous sandwich place. The line goes by quick SO worth it.
  • Gusta Pizza- Also a MUST. Classic Florence Pizza, I went here 10 years ago and needed to come back when I was in Florence again.
  • Harry’s Bar- right on the river, a classic spot for lunch or a pre-dinner bellini!
  • Gelato- GROM by the Duomo, nothing like it!

Dinner-

  • Trattoria Sostanza- MUST MUST. One of the best meals I’ve literally ever had. It’s small so make a reservation not bougie like LA Giostra. It’s family run- Cash only and CHEAP (at least in comparison to Amalfi Coast) . The house wine is literally BEYOND. It’s a MUST. Get the brick chicken it is insane
  • Trattoria Gargani- SO amazing and recommended by our hotel concierge- they were actually personal friends so we had prosecco upon arrival. It was one of the best tomato sauces I’ve ever had SO insane. Wine list was also amazing.
  • Acqua al Due- Has the famous Florentine steak
  • La Giostra-The classic that everyone recommends. Honestly Sostanza was better (and cheaper)

Sealed with a Spritz
