LONDON

LONDON TRAVEL GUIDE

London, Calling

Ok so, London. This is one of my favoriteeee cities, ever. Dramatic? Always. But, here is why. London was never at the top of my list. Sure, I wanted to get there at some point but when I think vacation, I think beach, sun, 90 degrees, swim-up bars; you get the picture. I had such low expectations of London knowing it’s not near a coast and it has a pretty solid reputation for being gloomy and depressing.

As fate had it, I met a boy who convinced me to visit this dark and rainy city. Well, let me tell you, I have never been so happy that I walked into a swim up bar in Aruba and met this British guy at 2-for-1 happy hour because I would have never fallen in love with this AMAZING city. And by, “in love,” I mean it’s the only other city than NYC I would ever consider living in and I day dream about it REG.U.LAR.LY.

In some ways, it felt like home. It has this familiar feeling that is so close to NYC but, has the same charm you think of when you dream of Europe. Sort of the best of both worlds. I mean, it’s English-speaking which is a HUGE plus and they have cold brew with oat milk. Need I say more?

All basic-bougee-betch-ness aside, this is an AMAZING city with great culture, food, art, drrraaanks, and men. YUP, they are basically all good looking. Even if they aren’t, they have accents so, same thing, no? ANYWAY, London is truly the best and you could come here 15 times and never see it all.

Have you been yet? If not put it on the top of your list!
